Regional Systems Improvement Division: The Who CPS’s Systems Improvement Division and Dr. Jane Burstain A little (I promise) about me What CPS and Regional Systems Improvement means to me

Regional Systems Improvement: What is this Division? This all begins with Dr. Jane Burstain The Stephen Group and the Data Paradox The 84th Legislative Session Building the team Finding the right people Providing the right training Working closely with regional leadership

Regional Systems Improvement: What is the Mission Regional Systems Improvement: What is the Mission? Assist, Help, and Support Division Mission: The Regional Systems Improvement Division uses specialized knowledge of regional data to assist CPS staff in understanding their local system. We help local leaders sustain transformation efforts, identify and build upon regional strengths, and target initiatives toward areas that need improvement. The Team supports leadership in developing and implementing plans, and tracking and reporting on progress.

Regional Systems Improvement: So what? How do you achieve the mission? Condense the universe of data Conduct root cause analyses Work in conjunction with regional management to develop targeted plans Follow-up on these regionally developed plans for implementation and efficacy Without multiple layers of clear and effective communication none of the above succeeds

Regional Systems Improvement: So what? How do you achieve the mission? How about some specifics? Dashboards Regional Improvement Team Meetings Root Cause analyses Strengths Assessments
