HSCB Targeted Training for Practitioners involved in Child Protection Conference   This course has been developed by HSCB to ensure practitioners involved in child protection conferences (ICPCs and RCPCs) understand how these work and are confident to input to key child protection decisions. COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: *Understand what to expect when attending a Child Protection Conference *How Child Protection Conferences fit into the overall safeguarding framework *Know how you can make an effective contribution to achieving the best outcome for the child *Understand the roles and responsibilities of the professionals who attend and how these fit in with the overall child protection process *Understand the expectations that HSCB have of effective child protection conferences for children in Herefordshire and your role.
