What I can do when I get upset! Seth’s Star Wars Story What I can do when I get upset!

Some things make me happy. Star Wars makes me happy. Cartoons make me happy. Playing video games makes me happy. Finishing my work makes me happy.

I can show my teachers and friends when I am happy. Here are some ways to show that I am happy: I can smile. I can laugh. I can say “I like that.” I can say “I am happy.”

Sometimes I get mad or upset. When I get mad or upset, I can show my friends and teachers that I am upset. Here are some ways I can show that I am mad or upset: Frowning Saying “That makes me mad.” Saying “That upsets me.”

After I have told my teachers that I am mad, my mind needs to calm down. I have the power to help my mind to calm down. Yoda can help me.

Anger I can think of Yoda’s light saber. The light saber can cut my anger into little pieces. The little pieces are so little that they disappear.

When all my anger is gone, I can think of happy things When all my anger is gone, I can think of happy things. I can think of playing video games. I can think of my friend Harry.

It feels good to think about happy things It feels good to think about happy things. I will try to tell my mind to think about happy things after I tell my teachers that I am mad.
