What is the goal of the Mission Partner Annual Giving Program? The OSF HealthCare Foundation is focused on creating a Culture of Philanthropy at OSF and throughout our community. That means connecting donors and grateful patients with their passions. However, not all Mission Partners are familiar with the OSF HealthCare Foundation. IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT MOVING FORWARD. IT’S ABOUT ENDING UP IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

The goal of Mission Partner Giving: the Engagement and Education of the Culture of Philanthropy. Mission Partner giving is a time to engage Mission Partners in supporting local initiatives to improve their facility. But it also give the OSF HealthCare Foundation a chance to introduce ourselves to the family of hospitals and Mission Partners serving at those facilities. IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT MOVING FORWARD. IT’S ABOUT ENDING UP IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

Not very innovative for an organization raising funds for 3-D hearts and telehealth. So we are going green and moving to online donations. If you already have a recurring gift donation, we would like to ask you to enter your same donation into the online system.

Mission Partner Annual Giving Program ONE OSF Collaboration with Mar/Com Online Funds Above and Beyond Fund for Mission Partner Support * Mother Frances Krasse Fund for Patient Support * Local Hospital Focus Area This year funds will support two new/newer areas. Some locations have supported the Above and Beyond Fund for Mission Partner support in the past. This fund provides financial assistance for Mission Partners in crisis. Human Resources oversees the distribution of these funds. The Mother Frances Krasse Fund for Patient Support is new this year. It assists patients with transportation and pharmacy costs during visits. It is distributed by the Care Management team and is another way we are focused on serving our patients with the greatest care and love.

So 80% of a Mission Partners donation will be used for the focus area determined by hospital leadership.

While some support equipment or building programs, others support area that assist patients, families and the community we serve. We are very excited about the opportunities in each area.

Mission Partner Annual Giving Program Three Ways to Donate One Time Cash Donation PAYROLL DEDUCT – ONE TIME DONATION. Why the delay in beginning payroll deductions? Even though the Mission Partner Giving Program ends in July, we wanted to give enough of a buffer time for Foundation, Payroll and HR to share information and make sure everything was processed correctly. We would rather have a delay than mess up the paychecks for 1000’s of Mission Partners. Will be deducted on the first pay period in October.

Mission Partner Annual Giving Program Three Ways to Donate One Time Cash Donation Recurring Payroll Deduction Begins on the first pay period in October. The OSF HealthCare Foundation will reach out to you every year and remind you about your donation. We are committed to ensuring you know where your donation dollars are going. If you should need to change your giving, it is as easy as sending an email to your Foundation staff. We know things happen and circumstances change. Just reach out to us with an email and we will change your deduction on the next possible pay period. Will continue until employee leaves or notifies the Foundation of a change. (But you will be reminded every year.)
