Extended Learning Wednesdays 2:20 – 3pm Opportunity to participate in extended learning activities: enrichment or extension activities in school wider reading at home development of skills in a particular sport or on a musical instrument Taking up a new hobby. All students in years 7 & 8 are expected to take part in at least one of these sessions The Lordswood Challenge – aim to broaden students’ learning experiences Students complete ‘challenge’ across 6 areas: Aim to provide a good foundation for progression to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme in year 9 Link with the Lordswood Experience which outlines the opportunities and learning which we want all students to experience during their time at Lordswood Girls’ School.
