Key Assumptions Key Assumptions – Non-Public Transportation Routing Logistics - Bus Stop Location Building Arrival Times Construction – Kindergarten Academy High School Bus Rosters Roster Size versus Actual Ridership
Non-Public Transportation Student transportation to and from the home: Morning Transportation – Non-public students will be transported from their home to Elmwood Academy via KA/4-5 routes. Afternoon Transportation - Non-public students will be transported from the High School to their home via High School routes. Two shuttles will be used to transport students between one of the District’s buildings and their respective non-public school. Shuttle 1 - West Shore Christian Academy and Trinity High School Shuttle 2 - St. Joseph’s Catholic School
Routing Logistics Bus Stops Building Arrival Earliest Arrival – 6:55 am Building Arrival Students will be dropped off 10 minutes prior to the stated building start time. In the event that additional time is needed, student arrival times may need to be adjusted further. Construction – Kindergarten Academy Site Limitations – Until the site work is complete, the building may not have room for 15 buses at one time. During the construction period, kindergarten students may need to be consolidated at Elmwood and then transported, on a fewer number of buses, to the Kindergarten Academy.
High School Bus Rosters Roster Size versus Actual Ridership – High School Ridership – Low Actual Usage High School bus rosters have been rostered at higher than normal rates. This is consistent with past practice. High School Ridership Survey
