The Mixer gear box lubrication can be satisfied with the following products: H1- Nevastane EP or SL 150 – 460 Word of caution some mixers lubrication requirements can only be satisfied with a GL-5 automotive specified gear oil. Any 80W-90 conventional or synthetic 75W-90 meeting GL-5 requirements is suitable for use.

Oven chains are lubricated with both H1 & H2 lubricants and the application methods are very diverse. It is very important to find out how the lubricant is applied and at what temperature.

Gearbox – Nevastane EP or SL 220-460 do and excellent job in this application please follow OEM recommendation to select viscosity grade. Filling Cylinders – Nevastane Wet Lube 100 has proven performance in solving sticking problems with this application. Beverage Applications & Processes cont’d Can Seamer Lubrication (FMC & ANGELUS) Seamer Grease – Nevastane HT/AW is recommended by Angelus and is suitable for most applications. However, I recommend the SFG as a more universal fail safe product. Normally you will find a NLGI 1 grade is the required grade. Seamer Oil – Nevastane EP & SL are both acceptable lubricants for this application the viscosity ranges from 100-220 check OEM recommendation. Total Seamer Oil which has been on the Angelus approval list for two decades Seamers can have once through or circulating oil systems
