Courses / Subjects / Course Options 5th Grade Religion Math English Composition Reading Spelling History Science 5th Grade Specials Formation Latin Art P.E. Add teacher names to give details – lets everyone put faces to subjects. Any other details to add about courses? Don’t forget specialists! Note frequency – once a week, 30 minutes, etc.

What should we expect? Fifth grade is not so much the end of Lower School, but the beginning of Middle School Homework focuses on utilizing study skills Help for struggling students: Math – tutoring with Mrs. Tran after school twice a week Lady H and Mrs. San Roman are available 2 days each if needed How do you push bright students? Math – classes are divided into two groups: grade level & above grade level Reading – AR goals are adjusted to each student’s reading abilities Some of this should come from your parent presentation at the start of the year. They don’t need details of folders home, etc. But overview type information.

Outside of the Classroom Athletics: Boys: Football, Basketball Girls: Volleyball, Basketball Clubs / After school: Boys: Conquest, Robotics Girls: Challenge, Robotics PSIA Competitions What can they do outside of the classroom?? THINK! Check the website MS – HS: Ask D’Arcy to confirm.

Setting the World ABLAZE Developing confidence through the Shakespeare play! Preparing a strong foundation in Math and English! Learning and LIVING their faith in the classroom and beyond! Icing on the cake… Why XXX at THS is the place to be. Ie: MS – We prepare students for their first choice of high school, etc. Our typical 8th grade is Algebra I.

Re-Enrollment for 2018-2019 Re-Enrollment packet will be emailed to you. Re-Enrollment is February 5 – March 1. Seats are only held through March 1. No change in tuition for 2018-2019. Late fees begin on March 2. Watch email for more details!! Do not change this slide.
