Question 1 Explain the importance of this quote to the play: “No, that is just it. You don’t understand me, and I have never understood you either—before tonight. No, you musn’t interrupt me. You must simply listen to what I say. Torvald, this is a settling of accounts.”

Question 2 How does the relationship between Torvald and Nora change at the end of the play? How do Torvald and Nora themselves change at the end of the play?
