Diphthongs

Words with the combination of two vowels in a single syllabus. The sound begins in one vowel and moves to another.

Foil I wrapped the food in foil.

Coins I have collected enough coins to buy ice-cream.

Noise Loud sound usually unpleasant. We made a lot of noise in class.

Point Point means the edge of a tool or an object. Directing someone’s attention towards something. I pointed at the window in class.

Enjoy To have fun. I enjoyed my birthday party yesterday.

Joyful Feeling of happiness. It was a joyful day at the park, we played many games.

Down Lower place or position. She looked down at the floor.
