Presentation transcript:

Working Group Question A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6 Alternatives considered for OpFlex, Equipment Capability, Clarification, Proposed next steps, etc. SCE considered calculating ICA accounting for all “likely” feeder reconfigurations. Significantly increases the scope of work with each configuration requiring New network model, Load profile, Voltage Profile, etc. Increases complexity May not provide the best result Compromise the ability to complete Demo A as required by the ACR. Consider the simplified figure which depicts a “simple” arrangement of 3 feeders. Other considerations included and need for future analysis What “level” of reverse power flow: Each feeder is different requiring different level to be considered Requires more time to determine what the appropriate level is safe May be alleviated with levels of visibility and control
