How does your body work?

Your body is made of cells! An adult has over 100,000,000,000 cells! Cell-the basic unit of structure and function. Your body is made of cells! An adult has over 100,000,000,000 cells!

Tissue-groups of cells that perform a similar function. Such as the liver, brain or heart

Organ-groups of different types of cells that perform a certain job.

Organ System-a group of organs that work together to carry out major functions.

Organism-an individual living thing.
