Q&A #2 Will there be help with Bonding? Answer: Yes, the J/V will not assist with bonding but will help identifying bonding assistance opportunities.

Q&A #3 How does subcontractor know if they are pre-qualified and able to bid the project? Answer: The J/V will notify each firm if they have successfully qualified to bid the project.

Q&A #4 Will there be one subcontractor per trade for all phases of the project? Answer: No, the J/V will diligently break up the packages and scopes of work to maximize participation.

Q&A #8 Do J/Vs need to prequal as a J/V? Answer: Yes, but due to the inherent questions associated with a J/Vs lack of financial or safety history each company will be evaluated on their independent qualifications.

Q&A #9 How will the retainage be dealt with on the project. (How long will it be held)? Answer: The retainage will be released in accordance with the project guidelines determined by the VA.

Q&A #10 If we dont qualify for one package will be permitted to requalify for additional packages. Answer: Yes, if areas of inadequacies are addressed prior to next package issuance.

Q&A #11 Ive already prequalified with Kiewit or Turner, do I need to requalify with the J/V? Answer: Yes, you must requalify specifically for the project with the Joint Venture.
