Presentation transcript:

Nonclinical Script Assessment Project Goals: Provide a forum for learning to program using R, in the context of dealing with SEND data. Develop a library of R functions that can be used to manipulate and process SEND data. Facilitate the collaborative development of open-source software projects that will provide useful tool for handling SEND data. Project status: Ongoing We expect to continue the project for several years Accomplishments: CSS Poster: “Use of R Script to Create Trial Summary (ts.xpt) Domains for Nonclinical SEND Studies Established a portfolio of software projects.

Nonclinical Script Assessment Project Software Projects CreatingXPT: Excel  ts.xpt (see our poster) HistoGraphicApp: novel visual display of histopathology data Functions: library of helpful SEND-handling R functions Install ROracle: allows user to access an Oracle database with R Utilities: file type conversions (e.g., excel  SEND, SEND  xml) PCandPPfromPDF: conversion of TK data from PDF tables into SEND PC and PP domains (“work-in-progress”) NoDose: removes all but dose-naïve subject results We are accepting new members with or without prior programming experience. Please contact Kevin Snyder (kevin.snyder@fda.hhs.gov) or Bill Houser (william.houser@bms.com) if interested in joining. http://www.phusewiki.org/wiki/index.php?title=Nonclinical_Script_Assessment_Project
