About the service – Community Impact Haringey Stronger and viable voluntary and community sector A programme of activities delivered under three key areas: Fundraising support - more funding and income generation. Strong partnership (between the Council and the sector; and between members within the sector) - to deliver shared priorities and meet needs of all residents. Networking and information sharing - sharing and disseminating local good practice to local VCS organisations and groups. CB Background info on Bridge, track record, current projects; SPS service name, duration and outcomes Sector awareness about Bridge and its role with the strategic partner service

Update on key activities - fundraising support Support has been / being provided to VCS providers on tenders from: Haringey Council (5) Haringey CCG (2) Department of Work and Pensions (2) European Social Fund (3) 22 funding applications have been / being supported including: Big Lottery Awards for All Big Lottery Reaching Communities BBC Children in Need Henry Smith Charity Social Investment Business Power to Change GO Spacer slide – visual, eg Community Impact E-Bulletin

Voluntary sector thematic forums Possible thematic forums aligned to the Council’s priorities, community needs and existing forums where applicable include: Priority 1: Children and young people forum (21 July 2016, 2-4pm at Civic Centre) Priority 2: Health and wellbeing forum Priority 3: Community safety forum Priority 4: Employment & skills (in partnership with DWP) Priority 5: Housing support forum

VCS thematic forums discussion The forums will bring council priority leads/reps and VCS providers working within those thematic areas together. Are there existing forums you are aware of? How can the forums be made to be meaningful and beneficial? How often should each forum meet? Do you have any further suggestions?
