Learning Outside the Classroom Personal development Communication New skills Team work Cross-curricular enrichment PGL is a signatory of the DCSF Learning Outside the Classroom manifesto which promotes learning beyond the classroom as being an essential part of learning and personal development for every pupil and student whatever their age, ability or circumstances. All PGL courses in France and Spain are designed to motivate young people to become increasingly independent and to foster a range of skills and personal development. The Excursion Day allows groups to make the most of their tour with visits to local places of historical or cultural interest. FUN!

Travel Travel by luxury coach. Ferry crossing Approximately 20 hours Depart – morning of 25th July 2019 Return – morning of 2nd August 2019 En route stops are made throughout the journey for toilet, refreshment and meal breaks. We suggest that parents supply picnics, snacks etc. for the outward journey especially if travelling a considerable distance to the channel port. Regular stops will be made en route, but service areas can be expensive. Euros will be required for stops abroad. N.B. Meals en route to and from the resort are not included in the course cost. There will be space for one piece of luggage per person plus a small piece of hand luggage. It is a good idea to take a pillow onto the coach for the overnight journey.
