Day 1 Depart from UK airport > Arrive in Naples Coach transfer to accommodation

Day 2 Pompeii Visit the ancient city of Pompeii beneath Mount Vesuvius which was destroyed by a catastrophic eruption in 79 A.D. Mount Vesuvius Mount Vesuvius is the only Volcano on mainland Europe to have erupted in the past 100 years, although it is currently dormant. It is a National Park and visitors can walk up to the incredible crater and see beautiful views over the bay

Day 3 Capri Take a boat over to the beautiful island of Capri. Classicists can visit Villa Jovis and Certosa di San Giacomo. Walk up to the top for amazing views across the bay! A funicular ticket can be bought for €2pp each way locally to get you to Capri town Ice Cream Demonstration Gelato - Italian ice cream is acknowledged by many foodies as the best ice cream in the world. Learn how it is produced and try some for yourself!

Day 4 Villa Poppaea, Oplontis The Villa Oplontis, located near the city of Naples and Pompeii, is thought to be the home that once belonged to Poppaea Sabina, who eventually became the wife of Emperor Nero Herculaneum The sister city of Pompeii, Herculaneum was destroyed by mud rather than ash, leaving it far better preserved

Day 5 Check out > Coach transfer to airport Flight home > Arrive at Gatwick
