My School is Like a Cell Hollyann Proffitt

Dr. Dallas, the principal, would be the nucleus because she is head of the school. nucleus

Mrs. Peebles, Mrs. James, and Mrs. Barnes are the chromosomes because they send messages throughout the school. chromosomes

The doors of the school are like the cell membranes because they let people in and out of our school.

The children are like the cytoplasm because they fill up the school and hold the teachers inside until the end of the day. cytoplasm

The custodians are like vacuoles because they pick up trash after the students are done with it. vacuole

And last, but not least, we have the mitochondria.

The bus drivers are like mitochondria because they release energy from the bus. mitochondria
