1. Orientation, Induction & Situational Analysis Understanding Changing Faces and SWOT Meeting the team! Key data and reporting including: strategy; operational plans; impact reporting / evaluation; staff surveys Purpose & cause – understanding the why Key strategic and operational issues, opportunities and challenges Identifying and meeting key internal and external stakeholders Preparing situational analysis – and presenting to Trustee Board Changing Faces Presentation title

2. Quality Improvement Programme Quality Improvement Programme with a ‘Phase One’ focus on financial clarity, accuracy and stability. Accurate and up-to-date financial information and analysis Succinct, high-quality financial reporting Building financial stability Set and agree budget to year end Create clear and transparent departmental budgets Agree process for 2018/19 budgeting Finalise audit Changing Faces Presentation title

3. Fundraising and Income Generation Ensure high-quality fundraising strategy, targets and reporting are in place and that fundraising targets for year are met. Understand current Fundraising Strategy and strength of pipeline Agree and meet realistic income targets for year based on pipeline Ensure all income streams have clear targets and related work-plans Secure high-quality interim leadership Ensure improved FR systems are maintained and further developed Quality bids and pitches – powerful case for support Drive focus on raising budget relieving income Build stronger links between Fundraising and Communications – and encourage a fundraising culture cross Changing Faces Changing Faces Presentation title

4. Strategy & Impact Ensure short-term clarity about goals and focus and establish plan for conducting Strategic Review. Develop 2017/8 work-plan: clear priorities, outcomes, targets and KPIs Interim reporting system to Board to track strategic progress & impact Build tactical momentum for increasing impact Agree immediate or significant priorities for change and action Ensure strong focus on strategic priorities across all teams Propose clear plan, timetable, remit and budget to the Board for ‘Strategic Review’ Changing Faces Presentation title

5. People – Part 1 Build a high-quality team, with the right structure, skills and culture to deliver our strategic goals Introduce a ‘Changing for our Future’ work-stream – help everyone to understand and be part of our change journey Understand staff and volunteer model, resource, capacity & skills Ensure strong staffing structure is in place Changing Faces Presentation title

5. People – Part 2 Build a high-quality team, with the right structure, skills and culture to deliver our strategic goals Build understanding of our culture, values and ways of working – and how they can best support us for the future Continue to build and foster a strong sense of common purpose and shared goals across the charity Ensure staff have objectives linked to annual work-plans and regular 1-2-1s to support performance and staff development Begin to improve internal communications Re-invigorate the staff consultation group Changing Faces Presentation title
