Have you ever heard of working poor? Yes No What do you think it means?

By the end of this lesson you should learn that politics impacts our lives. Some decisions have a direct and others have an indirect impact. Does minimum wage impact you as a student?

Working Poor means: The working poor are working people whose incomes fall below a given poverty line. Depending on how one defines "working" and "poverty," someone may or may not be counted as part of the working poor.

Poverty means: The state of being extremely poor Poverty means: The state of being extremely poor. Poverty Line means: The estimated minimum level of income needed to secure the necessities of life.
