CAMERA SHOTS

Establishing shot -indicates location -usually the first shot of a new scene

Long shot -full body shot

Medium shot -shows from the knees/waist and up

Close up shot -sense of importance -for significant actions

Extreme Close Up -includes character’s facial features -shows emotion

CAMERA ANGLES

Bird’s Eye View -godlike position

High Angle -can show weakness or smallness

Low Angle -can show strength or dominance

POV(point-of-view) -what the character sees -can build suspense or excitement
