Who has an eating disorder?

Essential learning You do not have to be thin/underweight to have a serious eating disorder 3 main groups – anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and EDNOS Not an extreme diet/attention seeking, a mental health disorder All types can be fatal 10% of people with an eating disorder are male

Do you have a healthy relationship with food?

Learning outcomes Eating disorders are caused by mental health problems Not everyone with an eating disorder is extremely thin or female There is usually not one specific reason why people develop eating disorders. Managing stress and anxiety levels can help protect against developing one.
