Tiffany Participants will have large sheets of yellow paper to list all of their professional learning experiences for this school year. Urge them to write them in such a away that they can share and review them easily. MAKE A LIST OF ALL THE PROFESSIONAL LEARNING AND/OR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMEMT YOU HAVE DONE SO FAR THIS YEAR.

MODEL CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK Read and make notes on pages 81-84. You will use this thinking to categorize your list and to make changes if needed. Professional Learning in the 21st Century Alfonso Explain that the MCF is an online LIVING document produced by KDE as guidance for educators, schools and districts as they work with curriculum. The document is a valuable tool for districts was they are considering creating and implementing new curricula-like what will be necessary for SCIENCE & SOCIAL STUDIES. This section of the MCF looks specifically at the professional learning changes that are happening as education and the world moves into the future. Participants need to divide into groups of 3 –can include more that one district if needed to get to three.

MODEL CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK Read your section A-page 81-82 B- page 83 C-page 84 MODEL CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK To your partners present: ONE sentence main idea of reading & 2 important points to share. As you listen to others share make a CONNECTION to your section When all have shared, find an idea, concept, or theme that is the SAME for all of your readings.
