My background Ecology and Environmental Studies Tutor for the Field Studies Council at Flatford Mill Ecology BSC and MSc Now undertaking PGCE in Secondary Geography with the OU alongside my role with NCC Coordinate a LfS project for Norfolk Education Advisory Service

What is Learning for Sustainability? Underpins the National Curriculum Cross-curricular Considering social, political, environmental and economic views (going global) Questioning, decision making & impact of decisions Teasing apart complex issues Working to lessen school footprint

Aims to support teachers with Learning for Sustainability, using the local area as a starting point and building to a global perspective.

Stage 1 Invite schools to participate Stage 2 Hold an initial twilight session Stage 3 Hold Learning for Sustainability INSET Stage 8 Provide on-going support Stage 4 Meet individual schools Stage 7 Evaluate, document and share Stage 6 Facilitate on and off-site sessions Stage 5 Plan on a school by school basis
