The Liaison Agency for FADN Institute for Agricultural and Food Economics-National Research Institute Unit responsible for FADN: Farm Accountancy Department. Department is organized with six sections, responsible for different tasks: Methodology and trainings, Organization of the farm data collection, Computer data base creation and management, Internet portal supply and management, Editing reports and training materials, Analysis and results dissemination
The main tasks of the Liaison Agency Coordination and executions of the Polish FADN: Drafting and reporting the selection plans to the National Committee; Contracting the farm data collection with Agricultural Advisory Centers (AAC) Reporting on implementation of the selection plans to the National Committee and to the EU; Data quality control; Farm data base management; Annually preparing sets of updated farm record books. Point of contact for the FADN services in the European Commission; Data transfer to EU with RICA 1; Participation in meetings of the EU Community Committee on FADN, Participation in meetings of the working groups on certain topics (last one concerns the farm typology).

Labour force in Polish FADN 30 IAFE-NRI employees: 25 at headquaters in Warsaw and 5 auditors in different regions of Poland, working in following 6 sections: Methodology and training; Data collection; Database management; Analysis and publication of the results; Typology for agricultural holdings; Multimedia and communication. 1748 employees of the 16 Agricultural Advisory Centers 16 supervisors, 1732 advisors/data collectors working with farmers.
Polish individual holdings do not have any obligation to keep accountancy Accountancy in family farms is fully oriented on Polish FADN needs.

Quality control procedures in the Polish FADN System is strongly oriented on error free data reflecting as close as possible to agricultural holding reality. Therefore quality control procedures are implemented on every level of farm data processing. 18
Key rule in the farm data quality control procedures Only data collectors are authorized to farms data corrections. That rule ensures uniformity of data bases on all levels of the Polish FADN structure. 19

The ways to ensure uniformity of the Polish FADN methodology Portal dedicated to the Polish FADN www.fadn.pl (information, documents and software dissemination, FAQ and e-earning). Since the first half of December 2004 over almost 650 thousand visits were recorded. Occasional trainings dedicated to specific subjects (as needed), Seminars and workshops. (latest: 9-th annual workshop/conference with 98 persons involved in the Polish FADN, held between 3-rd and 7-th October 2011 in Skorzęcin)
