Aim of the trip To allow new students to Beverley Joint 6th to get know each other To visit major museums and attractions in London Trip accompanied by Clare Gardiner, Amanda Cooper (1st aider), Guirec Cosquer, Jez Clifton Emergency contact in Beverley – Mr M Colton – 07833772705

Travel plans Outward journey: Meet at Hull Station concourse – 16.55 Train departs at 17.10 (reserved seating) Arrive London Kings Cross at 19.45 Travel by underground from London Kings Cross to Rotherhithe Arrive approximately 21.00 TRAVEL AROUND LONDON – by bus, tube, boat and foot. Students will be responsible for looking after their own travelcard. Return journey: Travel from London Kings Cross at 17.57 Arrive Beverley 21.11

Rooms All ensuite All on the same floor Quiet in rooms after 10pm

Food Bring a pack up for Friday tea to eat on the train (or eat before you travel) Bring money for lunch on Saturday and Sunday and for food for the train on Sunday evening All other meals are provided

Personal possessions We will be travelling on the underground with bags on so please DO NOT bring large suitcases You DO need to bring a towel Please bring warm clothes and good shoes – we will be walking a lot! Students will be responsible for their own valuables - please plan ahead and bring a zipped bag There is a safe in the youth hostel

Expectations of behaviour No alcohol, drugs or smoking Look after each other You will be placed in groups for registration purposes There will be times when you are unsupervised Stay in groups of a minimum of 3 Ensure you carry your emergency contact card at all times Make sure you know where the meeting point/teacher on duty is Behaviour in museums Public Transport
