Lazy Dog Thirst Quencher Jeremy Haley Jeffrey Marks Aaron Williamson Jay Emison

Device/Purpose The purpose of our device is to pour water into a bowl, so that Lazy Dog will have something to drink. A battery goes down a ramp, hits the notebook, which falls over and knocks over the bottle, which pours water through the funnel and into the bowl.

Design/Construction

Energy Conversions The battery is released and converts energy from gravitational potential to kinetic energy. The collision with the notebook causes potential energy of the notebook to convert to kinetic energy. The collision between the notebook and water bottle converts potential energy of the bottle to kinetic energy.

Conclusion In conclusion, it would be much more convenient to fill Lazydog’s bowl from the faucet. However, since this is the one and only legend among living mortals known as Lazydog, this inconvenience will be tolerated.
