College ICT Expectations

College ICT Expectations I will only use my own CSC account for computer and internet access. I will not access any web pages images, computer files, newsgroups, chat groups, or other material accessible with the Internet or the school network that would be considered offensive in the judgement of the College. I will not give out my CSC network or Internet password to another student. I will respect all school equipment available for my use. I understand that I will have to pay the cost of any equipment that I have damaged or misused. I will be courteous and use appropriate language in communication via the LMS and Internet. I will not use obscene, harassing or abusive language and will report any cases to a staff member of the college.

College ICT Expectations I accept responsibility in regard to copyright protected material. Therefore, I will not download and redistribute software, games, music, graphics, videos or text unless authorised to do so by the copyright owner (usually this person or organisation that create the material). (The College draws to your attention breaking copyright is breaking the law and you may be charged.) I understand that plagiarism (presenting someone else’s work as my own) is unacceptable. Therefore, I will list any downloaded material used in the preparation of assignments in a bibliography and clearly indicate where material has been directly quoted from another source. I will not reveal any of mine or others personal information including names, addresses, credit card details and telephone numbers via the Internet or school network unless instructed to do so by the College. If I break any of the terms of this contract, I will face disciplinary action as determined by the College.
