Creating A Plan

Creating Your Plan What is my child interested in? What am I comfortable with? Who is my support system in case we need a contingency plan? What can we afford? Are you accredited? What training and experience do the staff have? What is the staff to child ratio? Is the ratio different for children with disabilities? Can I visit first? If you child is interested, more likely to do it Is this hard for me or is this hard for my child? Be honest with yourself… Is there someone on your Team that could pickup your child, if they become ill. Or do you have to leave work? Ask for a modified day, or a discount Being able to swing by and visit may help you and your child – relieve anxieties, child becomes familiar with new place
