Description Neuro- nerves and logy- study of Neurology is a branch of medicine concerned with the study and treatment of disorders of the nervous system. They deal with the two major divisions: central nervous systems (the brain and the spinal cord) and peripheral nervous system (eyes, ears, skin, and other sensory receptors).

Jobs Jobs Neurochemist- They study the neurochemicals including neurotransmitters and other molecules such as psychopharmaceuticals and neuropeptides, that influence the function of neurons Neurological Surgeon- Provide treatment both surgical and non surgical for any part of the nervous system. Neuropharmacologist- They study the drugs that influence the functions of the nervous system.

Education for Neurosurgery 4 years of undergraduate school 4 years of medical school 1 year of internship 6-8 years of residency
