Church of St. Dunstan, Woking Continuing our journey towards one church for the Parish of St Cuthbert, Egham Following on from our parish consultation and the collective decision to look to move to a new church on a new site, we have received Diocese approval and have been asked to look at the options open to us. This process is now underway and over the coming months we will be talking to interested third parties and looking for a new site on which to build our church. We will be updating you periodically on our progress and please be assured that no major decisions will be made without you being consulted. St Dunstan’s in Woking undertook a similar project to ours and opened their new church in 2007. We have twice met with them to hear their story and how they worked together as a parish community to reach their goal. Below, as an example, is a plan of St Dunstan’s church and although the planning of our new church is just starting, we would be very interested to know what facilities you would like to see included in its design and why they would be especially useful to different parts of our community.
