They can be compatible with 4-pin.S-video socket, hence only for video) 3 Way Coax Splitter 'F' Connector Female Digital TV Satellite Cable Virgin Media F-connector + RF cabel (antenna lead) – for satellite receivin
DVI-A (analog only) - compatib.with analogue monitors Component video - video signal, split into 2 or more component channels (S-Video, RGB, YPBPR) Composite video (NTSC, PAL or SECAM) – all video information are combined into single singnal (in the analogue TV) S-video - Separate Video, Super video, Y/C: 2 videochannels (analogue): Luma (intensity, Y) and Chroma (colour, C), each one has its own ground (1,2 –ground, 3 –Y, 4-C) SCART - Syndicat des Constructeurs d'Appareils Radiorécepteurs et Téléviseurs – olderer, 21 poles, interconnection between TV receiver and AV device, the cabel is shielded; more types of signal: RGB, S-video, component video, serial communication bus D2B - Digital Data Bus, zem, ... DVI (Digital Visual Interface) – interconnection between videodevice and PC, ancestor of HDMI – 29 pins, TDMS protocol, - it is possible to interconnect the DVI a HDMI, but we need the separate line for the sound (jack) DVI-D (digital only) DVI-A (analog only) - compatib.with analogue monitors DVI-I (digital & analog) – dig. and analogue signal - dual link – HD video transmission
Typ D-micro – for little devices, 19 pin, 2,8 mm × 6,4 mm. HDMI - High-Definition Multimedia Interface – for HDTV or home cinema, 19 signal wires in 1 cable (twisted pairs), 5Gbps, dig. transmission of uncomprimed data Type A: 19 pins, the bandwidth supports all actuals regimes of SDTV, EDTV a HDTV; 13,9 mm x 4,45 mm; fyzically compatible with single link DVI - D. Type B: 29 pins (21,2 mm x 4,45 mm); it provides double bandwidth compared with type A. Hence, it can be used for UHD video transmission, for example WQUXGA (16:10,3840 x 2400 bodov); it is compatible with dual link DVI-D. Typ C-mini – is dedicated for portable devices; it is less than A (10,42 mm x 2,42 mm), but has the same amount of pins. It can be connected to A type through the adaptor. Typ D-micro – for little devices, 19 pin, 2,8 mm × 6,4 mm. - TDMS – protocol for audio/video, synchronization and shielding, CEC-Consumer Electronic Channel (connecting with e.g. HD-DVD), DDC-Display Data Channel – inf. about device and code (HDCP encryption), SCL (I²C Serial Clock for DDC) [Wikipedia]
