Donnie has $50. He wants to buy some $2 packs of gum and still have more than $35 to use on a birthday present for his mom. How many packs of gum can he buy? Solve and graph.

To make money for Kids Against Hunger, the students at Meredith are selling shamrocks that students can buy and have delivered to their friends on the day before apring break. Mr. Johns is buying the shamrocks for the 7th grade. The students plan to sell the shamrocks for $0.25 each, but they do also have to pay back the $20 to Mr. Johns. How many shamrocks must they sell to make at least $150 profit?
