Macbeth: Deep Thoughts Quiz Act III

Directions Directions: For each question, please write a response of at least 200 words. Be sure to write from the point of view asked in the writing prompt and follow the criteria stated in the point of view rubric we discussed in class.

Macbeth: “When now I think you can behold such sights/ And keep the natural ruby of your cheeks/ When mine is blanched with fear” (Shakespeare 3.4. 142-144).

Imagine you are the first murderer who had a task to carry-out for Macbeth. After doing this task, explain to your wife what happened in detail and what concerns or fears you have about the outcome, especially after meeting with Macbeth. Imagine you are Macbeth’s psychologist and have just met with him regarding what he saw and experienced at the banquet. In your report of that session, reflect upon Macbeth’s actions and explain why you believed he behaved the way he did.
