Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?   Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”

Locus of Control and faith? Q: Is faith in God an internal or external Locus of Control? John 14: 15-18 Jesus promises the Holy Spirit “If you love me, keep my commands.  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth.  The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.  I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

Paul and contentment Philippians 4:12-13 “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

A Prayer for coping with uncertainty? God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference. ~Amen~
