Presentation transcript:

Conversion accuracy Users often need to convert PDF files into more familiar and capable editing tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint PDF files have fixed the original design and layout of the document with few clues on how the document layout is formatted Users want those layouts to be faithfully reproduced back into the original editable format including tables, columns, images, header, footers, etc. In addition to reproducing the layout, users seek to have the same ability to edit the newly converted file as the original, including; flowing text in columns, proper page breaks, header and footer definition, merged table cells, etc. Power PDF 3 offers the very latest layout detection and reproduction capabilities from the leader in document conversion technology

Document editing: Improved text editing Before Lines of text were defined as individual text boxes with no wrapping Direct text editing is vastly improved in Power PDF 3 Epidemiological follow up in this case was hampered by difficulty in contacting and obtaining cooperation from potentially harmed individuals to test their exposure levels. This is a fairly common difficulty in epidemiology. After Epidemiological follow up in this case was hampered by difficulty in contacting and obtaining cooperation from potentially harmed individuals to test their exposure levels. This is a fairly common difficulty in epidemiology. Power PDF more intelligently recognizes groups of text and creates a single text box with text wrapping

Ease of use – Enhanced tool preferences on the ribbon bar Multiple documents can be opened within a single window and displayed in “tabs”, as with all modern browsers. Users can also select to combine all open PDF documents. If desired, users can switch back to have the application open a new window for each PDF. Users will be able to easily switch from document to document for viewing, editing and document assembly. When editing text, the formatting options now appear on the ribbon bar

Combine all open documents Added a menu option to create a PDF from all documents that are currently open in Power PDF Users of Power PDF now have a more efficient way to combine the open documents into a single PDF The “Combine All” feature provides an assistant to customize your document assembly for maximum versatility

Document building: Swap and duplicate pages Added the following capabilities to the Document Assembly screen. The user will right-click in the main window and will now have the ability to: Swap Pages: swap the location of two pages within the document. Duplicate Page: duplicate a page, or a range of pages, within the document.

Ease of use – Selectable color skin Users may now select to change the color “skin” of the application’s user interface to colors such as light gray, dark gray or blue from the default purple color This option is available under the “View” ribbon Users will appreciate the ability to customize the interface to suit their preference. Purple Blue Light gray Dark gray

Better pen annotations with touchscreen 2-in-1 devices We’ve improved how lines are drawn using the stylus pen on 2-in-1 stylus This makes it easier to write handwritten notes or signatures on a PDF

DocuSign integration* DocuSign integration allows direct access to your DocuSign account* Navigate DocuSign within Power PDF and apply signatures to your document* * Requires DocuSign® subscription.

Real-time collaboration over the same network Purple user #1 Blue user #2 Allows multiple users to, in real- time, view and edit a PDF document, then save the edited copy locally. All data and communication is local and on-premises, and no user accounts are required, which means it is a highly secure method for collaborating As one user makes a change to a document, it is instantly reflected on the other user’s document
