Sites and visits in Valencia Science Museum and the Oceanogràfic No trip to Valencia is complete without visiting the Oceanogràfic, Europe's biggest aquarium. With seven different marine environments, almost 45,000 specimens of 500 different species can be seen, such as dolphins, belugas, walruses, sea lions, seals, penguins and sharks. Don't miss the exhibition taking place daily in the dolphinarium. Reserve at least half a day for the trip.

Sites and visits in Valencia Mestalla - Valencia FC Stadium Tour A behind the scenes look at home of La Liga team Valencia, Champions League finalists. A legendary home to the legendary football team - built in 1923 and soon to be demolished. With the team set to move to a new stadium in 2009 now is the ideal time to visit this old stadium.

Sites and visits in Valencia Valencia Cathedral and Museum The cathedral is a microcosm of the city’s architectural history; incorporating a mix of each of the Romanesque, Gothic, baroque and renaissance periods and styles. As for the past thousand years, the Tribunal de las Aguas (Water Court) meets every Thursday at noon outside the cathedral’s Plaza de la Virgen doorway. Here, local farmers’ irrigation disputes are settled in Catalan. Visitors can also climb the 207 steps of the Miguelete bell tower for great 360-degree views of the city skyline.

Sites and visits in Valencia Silk Market (Lonja de la Seda) The Silk Market is the main monument of the city and a masterpiece of civil Gothic architecture. The building has been declared by UNESCO as part of Humanity's Heritage.

Sites and visits in Valencia Flamenco Lesson This fascinating dance, based on the heart-stopping and passionate art of Flamenco, is a must for groups and a true cultural experience from Spain’s musical heritage.
