Exploring Divorce in America Group Project Task 1 Task 2 Task 3 You will be working in small groups to complete a research paper about divorce. Each group should have someone researching the following categories: * Divorce in the 1920’s * Divorce in the 1950’s * Divorce in the 1980’s Each person will need to research and answer the following questions over the time period they chose FROM ONE SITE.: 1) Was divorce socially acceptable during the time period? Explain 2) What were some common reasons for divorce during the time? 3) Was it acceptable to get married again? Why or Why not? 4) Were there consequences of divorce? List specific statistics to support your above statements. Once you have found the site, be sure to cite where you found the information! On the side that does not have lines be sure to include all the information so your group members can visit that site too!

Exploring Divorce in America Group Project Task 4 Task 5 Group Names & Era Assigned After you have completed tasks three and four, get into a small group with members who have the same era as you. Share your information. Use another index card and copy their source information on the side that does not have lines, and the information they have that you think would be useful. You should now have two cards about the same era. Get into your original small group. You will take turns copying the source information and taking notes on the remaining three cards.
