Lockheed Martin Canada’s SMB Mentoring Program Doing Business with Lockheed Martin Canada

Introduction A significant portion of Lockheed Martin Canada’s program cost reside in our Supply Chain. As such, our program success relies heavily on the selection of the right suppliers who share our value to perform with excellence. It is Lockheed Martin Canada’s policy to develop and maintain a diverse supplier base. We believe in building long term relationships with suppliers who provide value and quality and meet their requirements each and every time.

Definitions Controlled Goods (CG) – primarily goods that have military or national security significance, therefore before working with importing certain goods into Canada, it is important to determine whether or the goods are subject to domestic controls through the Controlled Goods Program. Controlled Goods Program – a registration and compliance program that regulates access to controlled goods, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) items. Value Proposition – commitments/activities that are proposed at the time of responding to a Government of Canada procurement that demonstrates the bidder’s commitment to meet Canada’s economic development goals. CCV – Canadian Content Value – the value assigned to a commitment and/or activity listed in the Value Proposition. Quality - meeting all the specified requirements the first time and every time.
