THE #7 PLACE WHERE CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IS WORST Libya has not had a fully functioning government since the Arab Spring in 2011. Christians are vulnerable, as various extremist groups including the Islamic State fight for control. Persecution and violent attacks against Christians have increased. In 2017 many Christian migrants were kidnapped and sold as slaves.

PRAY FOR OUR PERSECUTED FAMILY Pray that the cruel acts by the Islamic State will only cause more people to search for our loving God. Pray that the Christians in Libya will have the strength to live for Jesus every day. Pray that many unbelievers will come to faith through Arabic Christian websites and TV shows being broadcast. Pray that they will also find spiritual support and gain access to God’s Word.
