Session Overview Project Goals New Features Development Process Individual Exploration

Project Goals Enhance the sharing of Local Improvement Plans (LIPs) Develop a standard appearance for LIPs Create a system that will require little to no support Create a system that will allow users to archive old LIPs The purpose for online system (, faster sharing, central location, archive ability, standardized) Community of Practice

Current System

New Features Users of this system will be able to: use new standard Microsoft Word templates create a new LIP edit LIPs online request approval from VDOE publish LIPs print LIPs Description of the project Why developed this system? (faster sharing, archive ability, standardize) mainpage, createnew (section 2- talk about table), print, request approval

User Reactions Cutting and Much easier than pasting is easy! Much easier than current process! You can glean ideas from other LEAs! Standardized format is great!
