As we sat in the doctor’s office we realized we knew little about this disease and that little was said about the success of treatments or how this could be cured. Lynn connected with Jennifer Frame of the Lake Norman MS Support group and after hearing the stories and struggles within that group, we became more determined to bring awareness to others as well as the need for a cure. We initially began cycling as a way to stay fit, then during a WalkMS event we discovered BikeMS. As we walked, we continued to discuss the idea of cycling for MS and found ourselves, along with Conrad Wease from the Lake Norman support group (who rides in support of his beautiful wife Nancy) participating in our first BikeMS event.  From these roots we have grown in size and have participated in all 3 North Carolina BikeMS rides as well as other NC events.      We encourage you to join our team and ride with us to find the cure for Multiple Sclerosis.  Check out our website at www.teamsozo.org or www.teamsozocyling.com.  

Team Sozo is a cycling team from Lake Norman, North Carolina that is dedicated to creating awareness and fundraising for the purpose of finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.  Sozo is Greek meaning “to save a suffering one, one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health”.  We participate in BikeMS events across North Carolina to bring this awareness to life.  May we one day find a cure for those who suffer from this disease.
