Student Design & Research Showcase What you need to know for the Spring

Requirements Display Board Boards will be provided Can be picked up in the Dean’s office Boards will be displayed from 11-4 PM on Friday April 4th Boards will be judged for the best of Junior design

Showcase Friday April 4th Team members should be with display board from 11-4PM You are responsible for project set –up and tear down Set-up is Friday before 11AM Tear down is Friday at 6PM after awards Judging will be done Friday from11-4PM Awards will be presented Friday from 5-6PM

Senior Year You will be required to submit a budget to Stephanie Hopper for funding You will be required to register your team You will be required to submit a safety plan to University Safety Officer Purchase forms are available at http://coe.fit.edu/srproject.html You will be required to do a 2 page write up for the showcase brochure

Travel Must be planed with University Insurance carrier Must have proof of health coverage Movement of projects to events will use university supplied transportation Travel by students must be pre-coordinated with COE

Budget Each team has money from COE Budgets are not finalized until all the teams are registered Teams should not started fund raising Do not approach donors without authorization E-mail shopper@fit.edu with request Sponsorship packages must be reviewed prior to use Registration is required to have money allocated to the project
