Heifer Farm 2017

Weekend introduction followed by some fun and games! Friday Night Weekend introduction followed by some fun and games!

Saturday Morning Map exercise exploring global population and consuming. Team work, compromise, and communication proved fruitful in this group activity.

Chore Time! Without the help of people who visit the farm, the Heifer Farm would not be able to function.

Kids loving kids!

More animal friends. Between our time doing chores and taking tours we spent a lot of time getting to know our farm animal friends.

Time in the Global Village We started our time in the Global Village by taking a tour.

Lunch in the Global Village The youth worked together to build and maintain a fire, prepped, cooked, and cleaned up our quinoa stew made in “Peru”.

Overnight in the Global Village For our overnight stay in the village we broke into two groups to make our dinner and work through a critical scenario as a family. After dinner and time together as a family, our entire group came back together for games, spooky stories, star gazing.
