Presentation transcript:

Your voice matters Help us to put together a picture of your experience We want you to get the most out of your undergraduate studies. To do that, we need to know how you are engaging with your course, what we are doing well and if there’s anything we can do better.

You’ll be doing your bit for charity too We’ll donate £2 for every completed survey to four local charities, voted for by our Students’ Union Student Council: Go to: my.anglia.ac.uk or the Anglia Ruskin App and click on the ‘Complete your survey’ tile. If you’re eligible you’ll be directed to the UKES. Your Username is your Student ID number Your Password is your Date of Birth in the following format DDMMYY

What is the UKES? National Survey for undergraduate students. It’s a chance for you to tell us your thoughts about your course. It takes around 15 minutes to complete The survey is anonymous/confidential and no-one will be able to identify you from any results. The results also help us make changes that will improve what we do in future.

What will the UKES ask me? The UKES will ask a range of questions about: Critical thinking Learning with others Interacting with staff Reflecting and connecting Course challenges Engagement with research Staff-student partnership Skills development How you spend your time

How are the results used? Data from the survey helps us target enhancement where it is most needed and helps us understand how you experience your course, how engaged you feel by the teaching and how supported you feel in your learning and development. The survey is confidential and no-one will be able to identify you from any results. We use the findings to improve our courses and the learning experience for future students. How are the results used?

How do I take part? How do I take part? Check your email account as you’ll receive an email from surveys@anglia.ac.uk inviting you to take part.
