Bell Work: Today is Friday the 13th. In a paragraph, tell me…are you superstitious? If so, what superstitions do you believe in and what do you do for good luck. If not, tell me what would you say to someone who does believe in superstitions. Turn in your Bell Work before you leave today.

Poetry on Fridays This week’s assignment from How To Read Literature Like A Professor was to write a free verse poem derived from or inspired by characters or situations from Greek mythology. Today, I invite you to informally share your poetry with the class.
