Recent Changes in Process ASQ/SE – eliminated from EMIS reporting for FY15 & FY16 Program of Concentration Changes Removed codes are still valid for students in the program last year Will restore codes to the FN tab Rule changes for whole grade acceleration Accountability IRN no longer required on FB’s PS coding changes for FY17, EMIS situation updates beginning in FY16 New How Received ‘H’ replacing ‘G’ & ‘N’ School-aged How Received now valid for PS students Ex: Open Enrollment, Following Teaching Parent, etc. NOTE: ESC’s should report ‘How Received’ for OE students to show where they are coming from because the funding flows differently

Recent EMIS Changes in Process Updates to the rules for reporting Admitted from IRN element SI will be removing all restrictions from this field so that it is always open for updating. Rules: Still report a value when Admission Reason is ‘3’, ’6’ or ‘7’ and Admission date is after the last day of school of the prior school year New: Report a value when the District Relationship of a student changes to ‘1’ from ‘2’ or ‘3’ (Ex: Student was OE out, has since returned to the district), ODE wants to see the IRN of the district where they returned from If student was enrolled in a non-public school or a school that doesn’t have an IRN, and is returning to your district, continue to report ‘999999’ Students who are enrolled in your district, leave to go to Foster Care, then return to your district, report the IRN of the district they are returning from while in Foster Care Admitted from IRN values need to carry over from year to year.

Recent EMIS Changes in Process Add Operator IRN to EMIS Data Collection for Community Schools Two new Attributes MGMTCOMPYS – Indicates the IRN of the management company MGMTCOMPNO – Indicates that a Community school no longer has a management Company ODE will accept both attributes in the same collection if a CS had a management company and then dropped it Both attributes require a date IRN’s will not be validated in SI

Ad Hoc Reports State Assessment Below Scaled Score Report – Finds students who scored below specific a score value to identify students who need to retake the EOC exam State Assessment Report – Finds results for students who have taken any of the state assessments (KRA, PS ELA, EOC, NGA, ECO, etc.) Student EMIS Attendance Hours (Pending updated view release) – Includes the attendance values from the FS Attendance Records At this point, show other document for creating a report.
