AVOID A SENDITARY WORKDAY! Walk more at work (park further away, take the stairs, take the long way to the cafeteria or restroom). Set a timer to remember to stand up, stretch and move every 30 minutes. Stand up when you talk on the phone. Don’t send e-mails if the recipient is near. Instead walk over and talk with him/her. Even if we have our workstations properly positioned ergonomically and we incorporate some stretching into our day we still need to move more than we do. Here are some great tips on ways to add more movement to your work day. Do you currently do any of these? What others do you use or have heard about?
