Background Established in 2015 Governor’s Executive Order Executive Committee as governing body Coalition of more than 45 individuals Mission is to strengthen an accessible, seamless network of support for Service Members, Veterans, Families, and Survivors (SMVFS) Priority of effort is related to Behavioral health services that focus on emotional health, and prevention/treatment/recovery of mental health disorders and substance use disorders

Progress Expanded support network 36 communities 5 businesses Conducting 2nd Regional Community Training event here in Medora. (Jamestown 1st) 39 mental health providers from 15 communities received the three phase ND Cares Behavioral Health Training, which included military culture https://behavioralhealth.dhs.nd.gov/ndcaresprovider https://ndcares.org/resources
