Docker Service Enhancement In this release we have enhanced the Docker functionality: container images stored in private registries can now be used for creating containers in the EPAM-DKR region. To pull an image from a registry to all nodes of your cluster, use the following Maestro CLI command: or2di -p project -r region -a pull –cn cluster_name -i image_name -t image_tag -dr dockerRegistryInstanceID
Network Improvements EPAM Orchestrator has been replicated to the data center in Budapest. With EPAM Orchestrator hosted on two data centers, we achieved higher efficiency and reliability, as well as additional backup capacities. The expanded network has been heavily tested for disaster recovery and the ability to maintain the mission-critical functions – and passed the tests with flying colors.
OpenStack Regions Updates In version 2.1.73, the functionality supported in OpenStack regions has been enhanced: DNS names can now be resolved: More Maestro CLI commands are supported: Ansible-related commands Volume-related commands Image-related commands or2console command Commands managing platform services
Maestro UI Updates EPAM Orchestration v.2.1.73 includes two more VM Wizard functions – Manage Tags and Manage Properties, available on the Management page
AWS Multi-Factor Authentication MFA provides an additional authentication point – a code that is received to a verified device and is necessary to complete the AWS login procedure. MFA setup is performed in following steps: Starting from July 20, 2016 AWS MFA is obligatory for all IAM users registered in Orchestrator. In case MFA is not set up, IAM user will be blocked.
